I'm smitten with the wonderful Mildred's Temple Kitchen in Toronto — I was commissioned to do the illustration used as their logo (the 'goddess' image) in 2008 and finally had a chance to visit in person last weekend. The space is gorgeous, the food is amazing and the staff is gracious and lovely. Highly recommended when you're next in TO!

I have an illustration in the January 8 2013 edition of the Globe and Mail — it's for an article on dyslexia, by a writer who has it herself. Fascinating to do — I illustrated a quote from the piece, where she describes how words turn into pictures and wordplay becomes something to be savoured and pursued rather than a distraction.

I have an illustration in the Globe and Mail today — it's in the Facts and Arguments section, accompanying an article about the author's bread baking dad, whose efforts were hit and miss at best.

I have an illustration in the Saturday, December 8 2012 issue of the Globe and Mail — it accompanies an article on how Swiss finishing schools, once the exclusive domain of upper class young women, are now moving into the modern era and welcoming men as well as women into their programmes.
